Kineopti is the online space for the work of Travis Wade Ivy. "Wade" is an artist based in Culver City, CA. A graduate of the CIA experimental animation school - California Institute of the Arts (AKA CalArts) - Wade makes films employing his unique animated drawing style, sometimes combined with live action set-pieces to create visually arresting sequences of images, rich with meaning plundered from all the world's history with the intent to show the way to the future. Nana is his muse, wife, and frequent collaborator.

Over the past six years, Wadee has produced a large set of idiosyncratic drawings. Touching on fringe themes and mysterious events, legends and references to historical and modern events are reconstructed through a subjective variety of prismatic drawing styles.

As a visual effects artist, Wade creates composite images for feature films, digitally modifying sets (and actors, and you-name-it), integrating live-action greenscreen and CG elements, executing complex wire & rig removals, performing acts of digital color correction and manipulation of all kinds, and of course lots of rotoscoping.
